1. 陷害某人

片語 Set sb up 在康橋字典裡有三種解釋，

(1) 為...安插職位

(2) 使健康

(3) 陷害或栽贓

to trick someone in order to make them do something, or in order to make someone seem guilty of something that they have not done

在影集中，Renard殺了自己的弟弟後跑到維也納的safe house來避避風頭，

沒想到以為安全的地方卻被鎮反軍發現，

好險主角們總是很難殺死，

又轉換到另一個safe house之後，

Renard跟前來幫忙的Sebastien說，

"I would have regretted shooting you, my friend.

Unless, of course, it was you who set us up, Sebastien."

當然囉~才不是Sebastien去走漏消息來陷害Renard的，他可是對Renard非常忠心的呢！

2. 淡季

Off-season 在康橋字典的解釋是（商業）淡季

a period of the year when there is less activity in business

影集中，Gregorek曾經由於入室行竊而被捕兩次，

但都因為證據不足而被無罪釋放，

不過這次他大老遠跑來波特蘭犯案可就沒那麼幸運了，

在審問室裡，

Nick: You are a long way from your condo in South Florida, Gregorek.

Hank: Hear the weather there is great down there in the winter. Is that your off-season?

Gregorek: I like the sunshine.

Hank認為Gregorek每次偷完東西就拿回南佛羅里達州賣，

也就是利用淡季(沒有犯案)的空檔回去。
